This year Day Solutions Foundation will host their 2nd Annual Easter egg hunt at the Knowles YMCA gymnasium. We will have games, karaoke, Schultes donuts, OJ, and easter baskets for all registered guests! The event is free to attend and is open to teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Families are welcome to stay and participate in the event. Volunteers welcomed.

The Day Solutions team is supporting the Special Olympics Polar Plunge again this year by jumping into the icy cold waters in some of the coldest temps on record! Show your support by joining our team, or donating to watch us take the plunge!

On February 15th, singer, songwriter and guitarist Jen Ogle will make a visit to Day Solutions, all the way from Lebanon to share her wonderful talents with us! Jen has performed at many events, venues, and even auditioned for The Voice!
We are super excited for her visit!
Day Solutions will celebrate it’s 4th Valentine’s Day party this year where we will exchange Valentine cards and treats and crown this years King and Queen!
You may send cards/treats to exchange if you would like. We have a total of 30 clients and 15 staff members.

The ladies of Day Solutions have decided to plunge into the icy cold waters at the Lake of the Ozark Polar Plunge again this year! SO, we thought, why not combine the two and show off our new updates while we raise money for our team!!!
With Valentines Day only a few days away…our ladies and our clients are whipping up some delicious treats for you to share with your valentines. Stop in on Tuesday, February 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a visit and pick up your favorite treats from our bake sale!
Families may send money in with clients this day to purchase treats as well, and donated baked goods are welcome!
This will be Day Solutions 2nd Annual Crock Pot cook off, and this year, we are combining it with the upcoming Super Bowl - asking everyone to wear their favorite football gear! Participating staff will bring a crock pot item of their choice to share with everyone! JCPD officers will be joining us for this event for the second year in a row!
On Wednesday, December 19th we will have our 4th annual client Christmas party featuring our very own Day Solutions Santa Claus! Each year, we celebrate the holidays with a special gift for each client, festive holiday treats and activities. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite Christmas sweaters/attire that day!
This year, Evers and Company, CPA’s, L.L.C.has chosen Day Solutions as one of the recipients for their 4th annual Day of Caring. For the last 4 years, the staff of 25 have opted out of a traditional Christmas Party and instead chosen two organizations in their community to give the gift of Christmas to. They will join us on Friday, December 7th from 9-11 with special treats and Christmas gifts for our clients.
On November 14th, we will celebrate our 4th annual Thanksgiving meal. This year, the meal has been provided by a generous anonymous donation. Several JCPD Officers and Detectives will join staff and clients for the second year in a row to show our thanks and celebrate our friendships.
Day Solutions Inc. and Day Solutions Foundation will honor twelve recipients, including seven adults with developmental disabilities, whose meritorious commitment to giving has earned them the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The award, recognized at a national level, is bestowed upon dedicated United States Citizens and volunteers who serve as inspirations to others by answering the call for service in their communities.
Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe and Rudy Veit, candidate for State Representative, District 59 will both attend to show appreciation for the guests of honor. Both are longtime supporters of the developmental disabilities community and career long volunteers themselves. Each honoree will be presented with a personalized certificate, medallion, and congratulatory letter from President Donald Trump.
